Co-founder
As a Quant Strategist with a Ph.D. in Financial Mathematics, Dr. Abdulwahab brings both academic and practical expertise to the SMA team. He participated in the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) in 2007 and Pan African Mathematics Olympiad in 2008 with Honourable mention, he emerged 1st in Nigeria at the Nigerian Olympiad in 2008. His success story in mathematical competitions exemplifies hard work and determination, qualities he instills in our students.

Academic Director & Co-Founder
A brilliant mathematician and master Olympiad strategist, a two-time Silver Medalist at the Pan-African Mathematics Olympiad (PAMO) and has earned three Honourable Mentions at the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO). He shapes our advanced curriculum, mentoring faculty and transforming raw computational skills into world-class analytical problem-solving.

Olympiad Instructor & Co-Founder
A University of Cambridge mathematics alumnus and a living legend in the regional STEM ecosystem, holding the historic distinction of being Nigeria's first-ever International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) Bronze Medalist. Pius has been actively involved in the Olympiads at the international stage for over ten years as a two-time deputy team leader at IMO, two-time deputy team leader at PAMO and a coordinator at PAMO.

A graduate of Computer Science from Stanford University, Oluwasanya brings his deep understanding of computational mathematics to the SMA team. He earned one silver medal at the Pan African Mathematics Olympiad (PAMO) and one honorable mention at the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO), making him a model of excellence for our students.

Lead Software Engineer
Otutochi Nwadinkpa is a Mathematics Olympiad veteran currently pursuing a career in Software Engineering. He represented Nigeria twice at the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO), earning an Honourable Mention, and at the Pan African Mathematics Olympiad (PAMO), where he won a silver medal.

Okezie Chiedozie is currently studying Computer Science at Fisk University in Nashville, Tennessee. He is an alumnus of Nigerian Tulip International College, Abuja, where he actively participated in Mathematics Olympiad competitions. Okezie proudly represented Nigeria twice at the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO), earning an Honourable Mention on one occasion.

Software Engineer
Ogheneobukome Ejaife is one of the distinguished instructors at Special Maths Academy (SMA). A passionate mathematician, he was a three-time finalist in the Nigerian Mathematics Olympiad, consistently placing among the top six for three consecutive years. In 2021, he proudly represented Nigeria at the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO)

The operational anchor of SMA. She directs programmatic execution, high-level stakeholder relations, international partnerships, and strategic fundraising frameworks to ensure institutional sustainability.

Program Manager
A seasoned human capital development professional dedicated to educational equity. She specializes in designing inclusive talent pipelines that bridge the opportunity gap for brilliant youth in marginalized communities.

Assistant Program Manager
Supports the planning and execution of academic programs, coordinates daily operations, and handles administrative duties to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the organization.
